1. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer from Coinection (“we”, “us”) and to every distance contract concluded between Coinection and the Consumer (“you”) via the webshop on coinection.eu.
2. Products and 3D Printing
2.1. Standard Products: All products in our shop are physical, 3D-printed goods sold from stock.
2.2. Manufacturing Characteristics: You acknowledge that 3D-printed items have unique characteristics inherent to Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). This includes visible layer lines and minor surface variations. These are not considered defects unless they impede the functional use of the product (e.g., a coincard not fitting a storage box).
2.3. Material Safety: Our products are typically made of thermoplastic. They should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 50°C (e.g., direct sunlight behind glass or inside a hot car), as this may cause warping. We are not liable for damage resulting from heat exposure.
3. Pricing and Payments
3.1. Currency: All prices are listed in Euro (€).
3.2. Prices are exempt from VAT under the small business scheme.
3.3. Payment: We accept payments through the methods provided in our checkout (WooCommerce). Production or shipping only commences once the payment is confirmed.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1. Territory: We ship exclusively to countries within the European Union that use the Euro as their official currency.
4.2. Execution: We aim to process and ship orders within 2-3 business days.
4.3. Risk: The risk of damage or loss of products rests with us until the moment of delivery to the consumer, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
5. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
5.1. 14-Day Reflection Period: You have the right to dissolve the contract regarding the purchase of a product during a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving reasons.
5.2. Handling: During the cooling-off period, you shall handle the product and its packaging with care. You shall only unpack the product to the extent necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.
5.3. Return Costs: If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
5.4. Refunds: We will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs charged by us for the forwarded shipment, within 14 days of receiving your return or proof of return of the goods.
5.4. Custom orders: Custom ordered products are not eligable for refunds, as they are printed specifically on request.
6. Warranty and Conformity
6.1. We guarantee that the products fulfill the contract, the specifications stated in the offer, and the reasonable requirements of reliability and/or utility.
6.2. Under EU Law, you have a legal guarantee of at least 2 years for manufacturing defects. This does not cover wear and tear or damage caused by improper use (see Art. 2.3).
7. Intellectual Property
All designs of the 3D-printed parts and the content of the website remain the intellectual property of Coinection. Purchase of a product does not grant a license to copy, 3D-scan, or commercially redistribute our designs.
8. Proper Use
8.1. Intended Use: The products sold on Coinection.eu are intended exclusively for coin collectors, educational purposes, and the testing of private coin-operated equipment.
8.2. Misuse and Legality: It is the user’s sole responsibility to ensure that their use of these tools complies with local laws and the terms of service of any third-party equipment (e.g., vending machines, public lockers, or shopping trolleys).
8.3. Limitation of Liability: Coinection is not responsible or liable for any misuse, damage to third-party hardware, or any legal consequences (including fines, penalties, or criminal charges) resulting from the improper or illegal use of these tools.
8.4. Indemnification: By purchasing these products, you agree to indemnify Coinection against any claims or legal actions arising from your use of the products in a manner that violates any law or third-party rights.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
